Matthew Embling - Drama and Gosport School Supervisor
Matt has always enjoyed dance and drama from an early age and used to do freestyle dance at competitions and won quite a few trophies. He also dabbled in tap dancing.
His love of drama started at Bay House School and Sixth form doing various shows, like Musical Theatre, 'Our Day Out' playing Les the lollipop man. 'Blue Rembered Hills' playing Donald (one of 6 characters.) 'Les Miserables' Playing Thenardier. He took Drama at G.C.S.E level and carried it on into A-level which then took him to do a degree in Drama. He obtained a 2:1 BA Hons Drama at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
His love for teaching began when he did a work placement back at Bay House School and Sixthform. He worked there for 2 weeks and realised that he had a passion for teaching children. Watching the children improve over the 2 weeks gave him great satisfaction.
He jumped at the chance at teaching at Bekims Academy as he has a lot to offer in terms of drama. He will get to teach drama which is his passion and he has also have been given a chance to teach Hip-Hop dance at Alverstoke Junior school as he still loves to dance.
